TIS Books is an independent, artist-led publisher of award-winning photobooks based in Brooklyn, NY. Led by Carl Wooley and Nelson Chan, we work closely with artists to realize their vision through thoughtful design, careful production, and meticulous printing.
Alongside our publishing program, we operate This Is Studio, an independent design practice offering editorial, design, and production services for artists, museums, galleries, and cultural institutions.
